The Paradise Bobcats will be playing at home against the Central Valley Hawks at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Valley took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Paradise, who comes in off a win.
Paradise waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They never let Williams onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Paradise's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Kira Imrie and
Ruby Wyse, who scored both of Paradise's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 14 so far this season.
Meanwhile, Central Valley and Davis Sr. squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but sadly Central Valley had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Central Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 347th, while Davis Sr. is ranked 34th).
Paradise is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4-2 record this season. As for Central Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-5-2.
