In what's become a running theme this season, the Redwood Christian Eagles gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Valley Christian 63-8 on the road. The win was just what Redwood Christian needed coming off of a 63-32 defeat in their prior match.
It was another big night for Nia Rogers, who almost dropped a double-double on 39 points and nine steals. That makes it 23 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Redwood Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Chisom Nwebube, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Redwood Christian is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Valley Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Redwood Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Athenian at 4:00 p.m. on February 7th. The timing is sure in Redwood Christian's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home while Athenian has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road. Valley Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
