Byers' loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Falkner, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-4.

Meanwhile, Falkner is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Potts Camp  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
