Basketball Game Preview: Perkiomen Valley Vikings vs. Spring-Ford Rams

Perkiomen Valley is 8-2 against Spring-Ford since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Perkiomen Valley Vikings will head out on the road to take on the Spring-Ford Rams at 1:15 p.m. Both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Perkiomen Valley is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Methacton: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Perkiomen Valley blew Methacton out of the water with a 65-26 final score. The Vikings pushed the score to 60-23 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors had no chance of recovering from.

It was another big night for Grace GALBAVY, who posted 21 points. That's the most points she has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinn BOETTINGER, who put up 13 points.

Meanwhile, everything went Spring-Ford's way against Boyertown on Thursday as Spring-Ford made off with a 59-35 victory. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-13.

Perkiomen Valley pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.9 points per game. As for Spring-Ford, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Perkiomen Valley beat Spring-Ford 62-55 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Spring-Ford's Anna Azzara, who went 10 of 13 on her way to 24 points.
