On Tuesday, Delano didn't have quite enough to beat McFarland and fell 2-1. Delano has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Their goal came courtesy of
Melissa Cabrera, who's now up to 18 this season.
Delano dropped their record down to 7-15-3 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only scored one goal over those three contests. As for McFarland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10-5.
Delano will stay at home for another game and welcome Taft at 5:30 p.m. on February 8th. Taft will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Delano surely won't give up without a fight. As for McFarland, they will be playing at home against Farmersville at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
