First Coast and Buchholz squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but First Coast had to settle for second. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bobcats. The Buccaneers' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Zach Sandell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run.

First Coast's loss dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Buchholz, their victory was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 27-1.

While First Coast had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
