Meanwhile, Jackson County had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let Habersham Central onto the board and left with a 2-0 win on Wednesday. The victory was just what Jackson County needed coming off of a 7-0 loss in their prior contest.
Apalachee pushed their record up to 9-9 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs per game. As for Jackson County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.
