The Euclid Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 55-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Medina. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Euclid in their matchups with Medina: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, Euclid still got an impressive performance from Thai Duncan, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Ari Jones, who scored eight points.
Euclid's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-12. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Medina, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Euclid will take on Walsh Jesuit at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Medina, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Norwayne at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Norwayne focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
