Medina Battling Bees (Medina, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Euclid Panthers (Euclid, OH), 55-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Medina upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Battling Bees host Norwayne (Creston, OH) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 13-1. Norwayne won 54-43 in their recent league bout against Smithville (Smithville, OH)

Next up, the Panthers play the Walsh Jesuit Warriors (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Euclid will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 46-44 league loss to Lake Catholic (Mentor, OH).
