Medina Battling Bees (Medina, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Cleveland Heights Tigers (Cleveland Heights, OH), 51-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Medina upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Battling Bees host Euclid (Euclid, OH) to play the Panthers in a Greater Cleveland bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Euclid lost 84-63 in their recent league bout against Brunswick (Brunswick, OH)

Next up, the Tigers play the Brunswick Blue Devils (Brunswick, OH) in a Greater Cleveland bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Cleveland Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 84-63 league win over Euclid (Euclid, OH).
