Meanwhile, San Bernardino was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 31-30 to Jurupa Valley. San Bernardino has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the defeat, San Bernardino had strong showings from Rihanna Scott, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and two steals, and Laniah Porter, who scored four points along with nine rebounds. Scott is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last three games she's played.
Rubidoux's victory ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-16. As for San Bernardino, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.
Rubidoux took a serious blow against San Bernardino when the teams last played on January 9th, falling 47-17. Can Rubidoux avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
