Oviedo waltzed into their matchup  on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Eustis Panthers 63-6. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Lions' considerable advantage  in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 75th, while the Panthers are ranked 437th).
A big part of Oviedo's  victory came down to the chemistry between  Caden Manning and his top target  Brock Joyce. Manning threw for 183 yards and five  TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes while  Joyce rushed for 128 yards and one  touchdown. Those  183  passing yards gave  Manning a new career-high.  DaShon Febres also helped with two scores in total.
 On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Oviedo's defense and their four sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess:  Gavin Brown and  Miguel Hernandez, who each picked up one  sack apiece.
Oviedo's record now sits at 8-2. As for Eustis,  they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-9.
