Make it 11 blowout wins for the Justin-Siena Braves this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Petaluma 54-23 at home. Winning may never get old, but Justin-Siena sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
Justin-Siena's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Washington, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 rebounds. Washington hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Dylan Zapolski, who scored 21 points.
Justin-Siena has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Petaluma, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Justin-Siena will take on American Canyon at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. American Canyon will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 280th, while Justin-Siena is ranked 116th). As for Petaluma, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Sonoma Valley at 5:30 p.m.
