After flying high against Manchester last Friday, Trion came back down to earth. Trion fell just short of the Bowdon Red Devils by a score of 7-5 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Trion's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 11-4. As for Bowdon, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trion will challenge Armuchee at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bowdon, they will take on Trion at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
