After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Whittier Christian, Marina was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Edison Chargers with a sharp 7-0 victory. The Vikings not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 4th.
Not much got past NICHOLAS MURREY, who gave up just five hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Edison off the board. MURREY has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, AIDEN HESSE was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was JAYDEN REICHELT, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
