Jarlon Drye Dazzles in Northwest Cabarrus Victory
Northwest Cabarrus picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jarlon Drye. Nobody could stop Drye as he rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season.
For the season, Drye has run in 15 touchdowns while averaging 171.9 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 18.86 rushing yards per game.

Robinson Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to LJ Watson
LJ Watson was instrumental in extending Robinson's winning streak to seven on Friday. Watson did his part (and then some), rushing for 90 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries for the 'W'.
Robinson pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Watson and Robinson will challenge South Rowan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jackson Forrest was instrumental in extending Northwest Cabarrus's winning streak to six on Friday. Forrest was unstoppable, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making 15 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
If history really does repeat itself, Forrest might just drop another big game when he faces off against Concord on Friday. Forrest picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made 12 total tackles (7.0 for loss) the last time he and the Spiders duked it out back in October of 2023.

East Rowan was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but PJ Butler did his best to prevent it. Butler was dynamite, picking up 80 receiving yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, defending two passes and snagged an interception.
East Rowan is on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7. Butler and East Rowan will square off against Carson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Hudson Irwin was instrumental in extending Northwest Cabarrus's winning streak to six on Friday. Irwin was unstoppable, throwing for 129 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes.
On the year, Irwin has thrown 10 touchdowns while averaging 122.6 passing yards per game.
