North Carolina High School Football - Carson overwhelmed by Northwest Cabarrus

In Friday's league game, the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) football team triumphed over the host Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC), by a tally of 42-7.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A game, on Friday, October 18. Northwest Cabarrus will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Spiders enter the game with a 4-3 record after their 17-0 league loss to South Rowan (China Grove, NC).

The Cougars (2-5) will now prepare for their game against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Mustangs enter the South Piedmont 3A game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, East Rowan was trounced by Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 37-20, in a league game.
