Moreno Valley won the last time they faced Hemet and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 14-5 margin over the Bulldogs. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by seven runs or more this season.

C. Logan was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. E. Zendejas was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Moreno Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hemet only posted a batting average of .261.

Moreno Valley's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-10. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Hemet, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season.
