You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Valley View's strategy against Paloma Valley on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Valley View Eagles blew the Paloma Valley Wildcats out of the water with a 63-33 final score. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 26 points or more this season.

Valley View's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tiana Washington, who went 7 of 10 en route to 16 points along with five boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was Mason Long, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine assists.

Valley View smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive games.

Valley View is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.9 points per game. As for Paloma Valley, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-20.
