After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Marion, Centralia was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Farina South Central Cougars as they made off with a 9-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Orphans, who have now won six contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Centralia got a big performance out of Keagan Burleyson, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Those two runs gave Burleyson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Archie Goewey, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
