For the second straight game, Winters will face off against Paradise. The Warriors will face off against the Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Winters has 14 straight victories, Paradise has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Tuesday, Winters got the win against Paradise by a conclusive 11-5. With that win, the Warriors brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Julian Herrera made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Winters let Everett Beason and Derrick Collins run wild. Beason went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while Collins got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Beason a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sebastian Rodriguez, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Winters kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.3 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 8.8.
Winters' victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Paradise, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Winters has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Paradise struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
