The Dover Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They suffered a rough 50-29 loss at the hands of Susquehannock. If Dover hoped to take revenge for the 44-39 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Susquehannock to victory, but perhaps none more so than Georgie Snyder, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Elena Snyder, who scored three points along with eight assists and six rebounds.
Dover's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Susquehannock, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dover will take on Kennard-Dale at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Susquehannock, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Solanco at 1:30 p.m. on January 27th. Solanco is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
