With a playoff game on the line, St. Joseph rose to the challenge  on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Hanford Bullpups  a   1-0 shutout. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for St. Joseph.

 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Jayson Rodriguez, who  went 2-for-2 with two  doubles and  an  RBI.
 On Hanford's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Thane Herman, who  went 1-for-3 with a  stolen base.
 St. Joseph pushed their record up to 16-13 with that  victory, which was their third straight  at home. As for Hanford, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 15-13.
