It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Kosciusko Whippets ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They had just enough and edged McAdams out 59-56. The win made it back-to-back wins for Kosciusko.
Andrew Mancell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with nine rebounds and six blocks. Those 26 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Tillman, who scored 16 points.
Kosciusko has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for McAdams, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.
