The McAdams Bulldogs basketball team (McAdams, MS), was nudged 59-56 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS)

The Whippets now possess a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greenwood for a 4A Region 3 battle on Tuesday, January 2. Kosciusko will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 69-52 non-league win over Gentry (Indianola, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-2.

The Bulldogs (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Nanih Waiya (Louisville, MS). The Warriors come into the 1A Region 6 battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Nanih Waiya edged Lamar (Meridian, MS), 46-40, in a non-league battle.
