The Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS) basketball nipped the host Leake Central Gators (Carthage, MS), 49-44 in Friday's non-league test.

The Whippets (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Forest (Forest, MS). The Bearcats go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Forest was tipped by Newton (Newton, MS), 64-48, in a non-league test.
