In Friday's non-league outing, the Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Leake Central Gators (Carthage, MS), by a count of 50-28.

The Whippets (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against West Point (West Point, MS). The Green Wave go into the non-league outing with a 6-3 record. In their last outing, West Point was crushed by New Hope (Columbus, MS), 66-57, in a league outing.
