Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Forest Bearcats (Forest, MS), 52-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Kosciusko upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Whippets travel to St. Joseph Catholic (Madison, MS) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Bruins come into the bout with a record of 10-1. St. Joseph Catholic won 56-30 in their recent non-league bout against Clinton Christian Academy (Clinton, MS)

Next up, the Bearcats play the Scott Central Rebels (Forest, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Rebels come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 61-54 non-league win over Leake County (Walnut Grove, MS).
