After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Weston Ranch, Chavez was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the McNair Eagles. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Titans as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Steven Hernandez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, one double, and one RBI. Those two triples gave him a new career-high.

Chavez's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-9 and their overall record up to 4-13. As for McNair, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Chavez will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Weston Ranch at 6:30 p.m. The Titans will need to watch out since the Cougars have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups.
