Leigh has won nine straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Soquel has won nine straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Longhorns will welcome the Knights at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Leigh and Leland have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Longhorns blew past the Chargers 11-1. The Longhorns have beaten the Chargers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Chargers has come to flipping the script.

Cooper Low made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two).
In other batting news, Brandon Kim was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
Leigh kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Soquel hadn't done well against Harbor recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Knights put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 9-2 victory.
Soquel also got a great performance from Dylan Hull as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Hudson Summerrill and Cash Moran did most of the damage at the plate: Summerrill went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI, while Moran scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That home run marked the first that Summerrill launched this season. Another player making a difference was Gabe Virgallito, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
Leigh's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Soquel, their victory bumped their record up to 13-1.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Leigh has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.1 hits per game. However, it's not like Soquel struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.1 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Leigh's way against Soquel in their previous matchup back in May of 2023, as Leigh made off with a 9-2 win. Will the Longhorns repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
