The Azusa Aztecs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 83-18 loss at the hands of Roosevelt. Azusa was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-7.
When it comes to explaining why Azusa lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ruby Untoria. Despite the final result, she scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Azusa's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Roosevelt, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Upland the next time they take the court. Azusa will head out to face Upland at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Roosevelt will head out to face them at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
