Carl Junction strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They beat the Joplin Eagles by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-2. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 11-6 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2023.

Carl Junction's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Joplin, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Carl Junction will challenge Webb City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Joplin, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Kickapoo at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
