Masterman has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Wednesday. They will take on Science Leadership Academy at 3:15 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Monday, Masterman didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Frankford, but they still walked away with a 39-34 victory.
Jocelyn Goldstein had an outrageously good game as she dropped a double-double on 33 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was her third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Brunelli, who scored five points along with seven steals.
Meanwhile, Science Leadership Academy had just enough and edged Prep Charter out 41-39 on Monday. The victory was just what Science Leadership Academy needed coming off of a 44-15 defeat in their prior match.
Masterman's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Science Leadership Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Masterman strolled past Science Leadership Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 by a score of 42-25. Will Masterman repeat their success, or does Science Leadership Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
