The Chariho Chargers will venture away from home to  challenge the Toll Gate Titans  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Toll Gate took a loss in their last  matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Chariho, who comes in off a win.
Chariho gave up the first  runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them  down. They skirted past Johnston  3-2. The game was the first time the Chargers have beaten the Panthers on their field since June 4, 2022.
  Christian Mancini was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Noah Holland, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  RBI.
Meanwhile, Toll Gate fell victim to West Warwick and their airtight pitching crew  on Friday. They took  a  5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wizards.
 Toll Gate saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jonah LaFauci, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base. LaFauci is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games he's  played.
 Toll Gate's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Chariho, their  victory (their first of the  season) made their record 1-2.
 Chariho couldn't quite finish off Toll Gate in their previous meeting  back in May of 2021 and fell  10-8. Can the Chargers avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
