Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Spring). They managed a 63-59 victory over the Killeen Kangaroos on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Among those leading the charge was Jaylan Tran, who posted 11 points and four steals. Braylon Reddick was another key player, putting up nine points and three steals.

Spring was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Spring's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Killeen, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Spring wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-53 loss against The Woodlands Christian Academy on the 6th. As for Killeen, they have also already played their next game, a 48-28 defeat against Klein Cain on the 6th.
