The Sequatchie County Indians are taking a road trip to  challenge the Giles County Bobcats  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.
On Friday, Sequatchie County didn't have too much breathing room in their  game against Walker Valley, but they still walked away with a  7-2 victory.
Meanwhile, Giles County didn't have too much trouble with Forrest  on Friday as they won  46-28.
Giles County's win came from a few key players Sequatchie County will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Pierson Collier, who rushed for 224 yards and three  scores while picking up 10.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 78 receiving yards and one  TD. That's the most  receiving yards  he has posted since back in October of 2024.  Damari Allen was in the mix  as well, providing Giles County with two touchdowns.
 Giles County was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 275  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 174  rushing yards in six consecutive  matchups.
 Giles County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Drew McClemore,  Dereon London,  and  Colt Ogle picked up one apiece. Ogle is also on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made six or more in each of the last three games he's  played. He got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
 Sequatchie County's record now sits at 7-2. As for Giles County, their record is now 6-3.
 Everything went Sequatchie County's way against Giles County when the teams last played  back in November of 2024, as Sequatchie County made off with  a  30-10 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
