Korbin Schmidt Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Korbin Schmidt produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Lubbock T to the win on Saturday. Schmidt rushed for 230 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry, and also threw for 138 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (118). He didn't just play on offense: he also made six total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defended a pass.
Stephenville FAITH's probably not too fond of Schmidt given he always seems to get the better of them. When Schmidt last faced the Knights back in October of 2023, he rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also caught a touchdown.

On Friday, CenTex HomeSchool had to settle for second even though Jadin Arrington put up the best numbers he has all season. Arrington rushed for 197 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 65 receiving yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 59 yards.
