The Eunice Cardinals had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They walked away with a 35-28 victory over Loving. That's another feather in the cap for Eunice, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Loving still got an impressive performance from Kaleb Rodriguez, who threw for 213 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Bobby Parraz was another key contributor, gaining 169 total yards.
Eunice's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-8 Hagerman and 3-6 Hot Springs (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 38.2% over those games). As for Loving, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-2.
