Lansdale Catholic has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 60-23 win over Bethlehem Catholic on the road. Given Lansdale Catholic's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Bethlehem Catholic is ranked 43rd), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lansdale Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Olivia Boccella, who went 8 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 2 assists. The contest was Boccella's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Grace Mcdonough was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with nine rebounds and four blocks.
Meanwhile, Bishop McDevitt humbled Camp Hill with a 59-20 victory. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Bishop McDevitt has managed all season.
Lansdale Catholic's victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 23.55 points. As for Bishop McDevitt, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
