In what's become a running theme this season, the Lower Moreland Lions gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They blew past Jenkintown 49-11 on the road. Given Lower Moreland's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while Jenkintown is ranked 503rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Briana Mcferran was her usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Sydney Santora, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and four steals.
The victory made it two in a row for Lower Moreland and bumps their season record up to 16-6. As for Jenkintown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.
Lower Moreland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-39 loss vs. Central Bucks East on the 9th. Jenkintown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
