Foothill won against Livermore last Friday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. Everything went the Falcons' way against the Amador Valley Dons as they made off with a 10-3 win. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Jack Fowler was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). Fowler was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Austin Rost and Tanner Tarpley did most of the damage at the plate: Rost went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Tarpley got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four hits gave Rost a new career-high. Another player making a difference was George Schmitt, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with four RBI and one double.
