Overfelt had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 7-7 to make it four. They lost 14-4 to the Silver Creek Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 back in March.

ALFREDO GALLEGOS MEDINA and BRANDON GONZALEZ did some serious damage despite the final result: GALLEGOS MEDINA went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double, while GONZALEZ went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. GONZALEZ has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was ELIJAH CASTANEDA-AZCUETA, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
As for Silver Creek, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4. Considering they have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
On Silver Creek's side, Robert 'Bobby' Resendez made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). Those nine strikeouts gave Resendez a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Nicholas Prum was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Saxton Sinatra was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Overfelt wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-2 defeat against Mt. Pleasant on the 22nd. As for Silver Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-3 victory against Yerba Buena on the 22nd.
