Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Maryly Duggins, who posted eight points in addition to seven boards and six blocks. Duggins is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last 24 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Piper Tyler, who had 11 points and three steals.
It was another big night for Madison Hart, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten rebounds for Foothill. The Cougars are 20-1 when Hart posts eight or more boards, but 1-3 otherwise. Kyndal Whitehouse was another key player, going 5-for-10 en route to 14 points and four steals.
Red Bluff's loss dropped their record down to 9-19. As for Foothill, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.
