Westinghouse is 2-8 against the Dragons since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Westinghouse Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Taylor Allderdice Dragons at 7:00 p.m. Westinghouse will be strutting in after a victory while the Dragons will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Tuesday, Westinghouse sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 30-27 win over the Bulls. The win made it back-to-back wins for Westinghouse.
Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Taylor Allderdice's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 75-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Joseph. While losing is never fun, Taylor Allderdice can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 338th, while the Spartans are ranked 128th).
Westinghouse's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Taylor Allderdice, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8.
Westinghouse took a serious blow against the Dragons in their previous matchup back in January, falling 69-21. Can Westinghouse avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
