Tecumseh came tearing into Friday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hobart Bearcats a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Savages, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Tecumseh's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Hobart, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Tecumseh has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Merritt on the 12th. As for Hobart, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Hooker at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
