Last Friday, Sacramento Waldorf strolled past Delta with points to spare, taking the game 35-21. The victory was just what Sacramento Waldorf needed coming off of a 60-25 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Stone Ridge Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a hard 57-40 fall against Venture Academy. Stone Ridge Christian has struggled against Venture Academy recently, as their contest on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite their defeat, Stone Ridge Christian saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Cali Cole, who scored 18 points, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Tailynn Dungy, who scored ten points.
Sacramento Waldorf is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. As for Stone Ridge Christian, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-8.
