Basketball Recap: Trinity Skates Past Hull-Daisetta with Ease

Trinity had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 45 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 55-21 win over the Hull-Daisetta Bobcats. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 30 points or more this season.

Trinity has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.4 points per game. As for Hull-Daisetta, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Trinity won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Big Sandy at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Trinity knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Big Sandy likes a good challenge. As for Hull-Daisetta, they will be home for the holidays to greet Spurger at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Spurger will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Hull-Daisetta surely won't give up without a fight.
