The Magnolia Science Academy 5 Lobos's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 35-19 to Panorama.
Panorama's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was YESSENIA QUEZADA, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and three steals. QUEZADA has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of ELIZABETH JUAREZ, who scored six points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Magnolia Science Academy 5's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Panorama, their victory bumped their record up to 4-19.
Magnolia Science Academy 5 does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Panorama will head out on the road to face off against Van Nuys at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Van Nuys presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Panorama in California (Van Nuys is ranked 299th, while Panorama is ranked 1155th).
