There's no place like home for Towns County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They were the clear victor by an 11-0 margin over the Murphy Bulldogs on Thursday. Considering the Indians have won six games by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Towns County is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. Murphy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Towns County will host Washington-Wilkes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Murphy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Swain County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
