Coupeville has gone a perfect 10-0 against La Conner recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Wolves will take on the Braves at 4:00 p.m. One thing working in Coupeville's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last six matchups.

Coupeville is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Darrington 24-2 on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for La Conner, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Concrete last Thursday, sneaking past 14-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Braves have posted against the Lions since April 1, 2022.

Jade Souryavong and Angie Pena did most of the damage at the plate: Souryavong scored two runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-5, while Pena scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Souryavong also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Rachel Bill, who scored a run and stole four bases while going 2-for-4.

Coupeville's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.6 runs over those games. As for La Conner, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Coupeville took their win against La Conner when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 14-0 score. Do the Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Braves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
